Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Stefan O'Leary, a sole proprietor in the United States who operates Prism Face (“we”, “us”). By using this website or the Prism Face app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Prism Face has not launched yet. Until it does, this website is for information only and nothing can be bought.

1. The service

Prism Face is a web app that analyzes facial proportions from photos you upload. It places facial landmarks, measures proportions, and scores them against population ranges. Some features are free. Others are paid:

• Unlock: a one-off payment for one scan that adds AI ratings (angularity, dimorphism and features), an overall score and related tools.
• Pro: a monthly subscription for extra features such as multi-treatment simulation and progress reports.

The price and what is included are always shown before you pay.

2. Not medical advice

Prism Face provides information for personal insight. Scores, ratings, simulations and treatment information are estimates made by software and AI models from photos. They can be wrong, and results vary with lighting, angle, expression and camera. Prism Face is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or recommend treatment for any condition. Ideal ranges are population norms, not a standard anyone should meet. Talk to a qualified professional before making any medical or cosmetic decision.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old. You may only upload photos of yourself, or of another adult who has given you clear permission. Never upload photos of anyone under 18.

4. Your photos

You keep all rights to your photos. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your photos for any other purpose.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload photos of other people without their permission, or of anyone under 18;
• use the service to harass, shame, rank or target other people;
• try to identify people with the service;
• copy, resell, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or overload or disrupt it;
• use it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these rules.

6. Payments and subscriptions

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars, and any applicable tax is shown at checkout.
• An unlock is a one-off payment for one scan. It does not renew.
• Pro is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically each month until you cancel. We will tell you before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
• You can cancel Pro at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for.

Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Our content

The app, its design, text and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use the service for yourself. Your results are yours to keep and share.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Prism Face available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you have already paid for, we will refund the unused part.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on your results, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Ending these terms

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. The sections on medical advice, content, disclaimers and liability continue to apply afterwards.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator resides. Before starting any legal claim, please email us so we can try to resolve the problem.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and tell subscribers by email before any change that affects them takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
