Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Prism Face collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Prism Face is operated by Stefan O'Leary, a sole proprietor in the United States (“we”, “us”). Questions about this policy go to s_nika_home@proton.me.

Prism Face has not launched yet. Section 1 describes this website as it is today. Sections 2 to 5 describe how the app will handle your information when it opens. If anything changes before or after launch, we will update this page first.

1. This website, before launch

This website is an information page. It has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies.

• Server logs. Like any web server, ours records basic technical details of each request (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time). We use these only to keep the site running and secure, and delete them routinely.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply.

2. Your photos and face measurements

Prism Face analyzes the proportions of the face in the photos you choose to upload. This is the most sensitive information the app handles, so the rules are simple:

• The free scan stays on your device. The face model and scoring run in your browser. Your photos, the landmark positions and your scores are stored in your browser's storage, not sent to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes them.
• Unlocking sends your photos for AI rating. When you pay to unlock a scan, your photos are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our server, which passes them to Google's Gemini API to produce the ratings. We do not keep your photos on our server after the ratings are returned. Google processes them under its API terms for paid services, which do not allow Google to use them to train its models. Google may keep them for a limited time to detect abuse, as those terms describe.
• Measurements are not used to identify you. Landmarks and ratings describe proportions. We do not use them for facial recognition, to identify anyone, or to link you to other photos or accounts.
• Never sold. We do not sell, rent or share your photos or measurements with anyone for advertising or any other purpose, and we do not use them to train AI models.

If we later add features that store photos or results on our servers (for example, progress reports that compare scans over time), we will update this policy and ask for your consent before storing anything.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. Stripe shares with us what we need to run the purchase: your email address, the product you bought, the amount, the payment status, and limited card details such as the card brand, the last four digits and the billing country. Stripe's use of your information is covered by its own privacy policy.

4. How we use information

• To provide the analysis and the features you pay for.
• To process payments, refunds and cancellations.
• To answer your messages and provide support.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping payment records for tax purposes.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

5. Who we share it with

• Google (Gemini API), to rate photos you choose to unlock.
• Stripe, to process payments.
• Our hosting provider, which runs the server this site and the app are served from.
• Authorities, only when the law requires it.

6. Keeping information safe

All traffic to this site is encrypted with HTTPS. We collect as little as the service needs, and keep the most sensitive part, your photos, on your own device unless you choose to unlock a scan. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

7. Age

Prism Face is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the service, contact us and we will delete what we hold.

8. Your choices and rights

You can delete everything stored by the free scan at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. You can also email s_nika_home@proton.me to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will answer within 30 days. Depending on the state you live in, you may have further rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor them. We will not treat you differently for using them.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how your photos are handled, we will make it clear in the app before it takes effect.
